By checking the box, I acknowledge that I am either the legal parent or guardian of the participating child(ren) and I understand and accept that participating in the activities, classes, and programs conducted by Yup Academy involves inherent risks, hazards, and dangers that can result in serious injury or damage to the participant.

I understand and agree that Yup Academy and its staff, instructors, directors, officers, volunteers, and agents are not responsible for any injury (including without limitation, death), damage or loss that may result to the participant or the participant's property while at Yup Academy's premises or during Yup Academy activities, except to the extent and in the amount covered by Yup Academy's liability insurance.I voluntarily accept and assume all risks of injury, loss, or damage to the participant or the participant's property, whether or not caused by the negligence or other fault of Yup Academy including but not limited to equipment malfunction from whatever cause, or any other fault of Yup Academy.

Additionally, I hereby release and discharge Yup Academy and its staff, instructors, directors, officers, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, causes of action, damages, or liabilities for injury, loss, or damage to the participant or to the participant's property that may occur as a result of or in connection with the participant's participation in Yup Academy activities, except to the extent and in the amount covered by Yup Academy's liability insurance.

This release includes, without limitation, any personal injury, death, or damage caused by the negligence, action, or inaction of any of the Released Parties.

I have read this Liability Waiver and Release, I fully understand its contents and I voluntarily agree to its terms. 

By checking the box, I acknowledge that Yup Academy has the right to take photographs and videos during the classes and events, and to use the photographs and videos of your child(ren) and you with or without a name and for any educational purpose, including for examples such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising and web content. (Child under 18 years old will be supervised by their parents or guardians and their agreement will be agreed by their parents or guardians.) 

We offer all students an obligation-free class (applicable to the first class only). This will entitle all students who have participated in one lesson a complete refund of term fees.  Should a student wish to cancel their enrolment, Yup Academy must be notified prior to their second lesson in order to be eligible for a refund.   

Yup Academy is a pre-paid school, ensuring the quality of classes and commitment to events and projects. All term fees are to be paid for in full and prior to a student’s second lesson. In the circumstance of a refund being granted the amount would be for remaining classes only (not applicable to any already taken). Any students attending classes with term fees outstanding will be charged an additional $20 administration fee. 

Throughout the year students may be invited to take part in performances or competitions. Fees associated will be communicated in advance to all students.  

There are no refunds or discounts for classes missed during the terms. If a class is missed, we do offer a make-up class (however this is subject to class availability). Make-up classes are only permitted within the term that they are missed.  Should a dance class be cancelled during the term, we will offer a make-up class to the students involved or provide a credit of the single class price. (Please note that this does not apply to crew programs).
